CHARLOTTE Church’s latest album has flopped, figures show – selling just 6,000 more copies than a collection of traditional Welsh-language songs.
The Welsh songstress’ Back to Scratch has shifted just 16,000 copies in its first month.
That’s just 6,000 more copies than former Catatonia frontwoman Cerys Matthews’ latest album Tir, a collection of traditional Welsh songs from the early 19th century.
Church’s 14-track LP limped into the charts at No 23 after its release at the start of the month before plummeting to 65 after a week.
