The BBC have asked Westminster to review the basis of the funding of S4C. They regard the current system as unfair to UK licence payers.
The BBC are suggesting that in future S4C should be paid for by a supplimetary licence fee in Wales with a similar arrangement applying for BBC Alba in Scotland
