Major riouts have broken out in Croydon and the Met have again been unable to bring the situation under control. They have requested additional air suport from the Surrey & Sussex forces.
Military units are now on Red alert and ready to go into London as soon as reqested
Several major fires have been started in Croyden but the Fire Brigade cannot get to them
